You can put this solution on YOUR website! There are two requirements this number has to meet. We'll focus on the second one first. If you add one to the denominator, the fraction=one half. There are many options for this one, but it also has to meet the first requirement. Here are some options for the second requirement: If the fraction were 1/1, adding 1 to the denominator will make it 1/2, but that number doesn't meet the first requirement because adding one to the numerator and subtracting one from the denominator would make it 2/0 which is incorrect for two reasons: 1. It's undefined. The denominator of a fraction can't be 0. 2. 2/0 is not 1.
If the fraction were 2/3, it would meet the second requirement because it would become 2/4 which equals 1/2. However it does not reach the first requirement because it would become 3/2 which does not equal 1. The next option is 3/5. If you add 1 and 5, it becomes 6 and 3/6=1/2. It also meets the first requirement because 3+1=4 and 5-1 is 4 and 4/4=1

Let numerator and denominator be N, and D, respectively
Then we get: ------- eq (i)
Also, ------- eq (ii)
Solve these 2 for N and D, and you should have the numerator as well as the denominator, and therefore, the fraction.
