You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Total profit made is 30 * 27 = $810 per day.
The 12 females averaged 18. 12*18 = $216
30 total sellers less 12 females mean there were 18 males.
810 - 216 = $594
$594/18 = $33/day average profit for the males

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let +p+ = total of the profits for m&f banana sellers
[ ave. profit ] = [ total profit ] / [ number of m&f banana sellers ]
+27+=+p+%2F++30+
+p+=+810+
---------------------
Let +p%5B1%5D+ = the total of the profit/day for female banana sellers
For the 12 who were female:
+18+=+p%5B1%5D+%2F+12+
+p%5B1%5D+=+216+
---------------------
The total of the profit/day for males, +p%5B2%5D+, must have been:
+p%5B2%5D+=+810+-+216+
+p%5B2%5D+=+594+
-----------------
The number of male sellers was:
+30+-+12+=+18+
Average profit/day for male sellers was:
+p%5B2%5D+%2F+18+
+594+%2F+18+=+33+
$33
