Find the equation for the circle with a diameter whose endpoints are (2,-2) and (-5,4). ????
------------------------------------------------------

The center is at (-1.5, 1).

Notice that -1.5 = %282+%2B+%28-5%29%29%2F2 and 1 = %28-2+%2B+4%29%2F2.

The square of the diameter is 7%5E2+%2B+%28-6%29%5E2%29 = 85.

Notice that 7 = 2 - (-5), and -6 = -2 - 4.

The equation of the circle is

%28x%2B1.5%29%5E2+%2B+%28y-1%29%5E2 = 85%2F4.

The radius of the circle is sqrt%2885%29%2F2.
