Cal the prices of adult and child's tickets, a and c. Then we have
a = c + 3 and
6a + 2c = 98
Now substitute the first into the second and get
6(c+3) + 2c = 98
6c + 18 + 2c = 98
8c + 18 = 98
8c = 80
c = $10
a = $13
