You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the denominator of 5/8 is increased by a number and the numerator is doubled, the result is 1.
Find the number
:
let n = the number
%28%282%2A5%29%29%2F%28%28n%2B8%29%29 = 1
multiply both sides by n+8
10 = 1(n+8)
10 - 8 = n
2 = n
:
If we add 2 to the denominator and double the numerator, we have 10/10
