Question 1015880: Consider the logarithmic equation f(x) = ln (x + 2) – 1. Round all values to the tenths place.
(a) Determine any x- and y-intercepts.
(b) Determine the domain and the equation of the vertical asymptote.
(c) Make a table of values to find three other points on the graph.
(d) Graph the function. Label the three points you found in Part (c).

You can put this solution on YOUR website! ln(x+2)-1
x must be greater than -2.
As x approaches -2, ln (x+2) gets more and more negative, so x=-2 is vertical asymptote. When x=0, y=ln(2)-1, =-0.3
when y=0,
ln(x+2)=1 and raising both to the e power, (x+2)=2.7 and x=0.7
ln(1)=0, therefore x=-1, y=-1
Table
0,-0.3
0.7,0
-1,-1
