You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Is this it?
+%28+x+%2B+3+%29+%2F+5+=+-2+
You can put parentheses around any group
of variables and numbers and think of it as
a single quantity.
------------------
Multiply both sides of the equation by +5+
I'll do this the step by step way
+5%2A%28+%28+x%2B3+%29+%2F+5+%29+=+-2%2A5+
+%28+5%2F5+%29%2A%28+x+%2B+3+%29+=+-10+
Note that +5%2F5+=+1+
+1%2A%28+x+%2B+3+%29+=+-10+
+x+%2B+3+=+-10+
Subtract +3+ from both sides
+x+%2B+3+-+3+=+-10+-+3+
+x+=+-13+
-------------
Check answer:
+%28+x+%2B+3+%29+%2F+5+=+-2+
+%28+-13+%2B+3+%29+%2F+5+=+-2+
+-10%2F5+=+-2+
+-2+=+-2+
OK
