Assuming they are traveling toward each each other, they consume (70 + 65) = 135 miles of the distance between them each hour.
Couple of ways to finish the problem...here's one...
To cover the 250 miles, it would take them 250/130 = 25/13 hours.
The NY train covers 70(25/13) = 134.6 miles from NY is where they meet...
