when x = 1, y = 3/4
1 = 4/4
3/5 = 4/4 - 1/4
convert this to decimal form, then when x = 1, y = .75
when x = 3/2, y = 5/4
3/2 = 6/4
5/4 = 6/4 - 1/4
convert this to decimal form, then when x = 1.5, y = 1.25
when x = 9/4, y = 2
2 = 8/4
8/4 = 9/4 - 1/4
convert this to decimal form, then when x = 2.25, y = 2
