Find the numbers.
In problems like this, sometimes you can just guess them.
But if you can't, then do it this way:

x = first even integer
x+2 = second even integer

x(x+2) = 120

x² + 2x = 120

x² + 2x - 120 = 0

x+=+%28-b+%2B-+sqrt%28+b%5E2-4ac+%29%29%2F%282a%29+

a=1, b=2, c=-120

x+=+%28-%282%29+%2B-+sqrt%28+%282%29%5E2-4%281%29%28-120%29+%29%29%2F%282%281%29%29+

x+=+%28-2+%2B-+sqrt%284%2B480+%29%29%2F%282%281%29%29+

x+=+%28-2+%2B-+sqrt%28484%29+%29%2F2+

x+=+%28-2+%2B-+22+%29%2F2+

Using the +

x+=+%28-2+%2B+22+%29%2F2+

x+=+20%2F2+

x+=+10+

So one solution is

x = 10 = first even integer
x+2 = 10+2 = 12 = second even integer

Using the -

x+=+%28-2+-+22+%29%2F2+

x+=+%28-24%29%2F2+

x+=+-12+

So another solution is

x = -12 = first even integer
x+2 = -12+2 = -10 = second even integer
