Hi there,
If the square of a number is added to
the number increased by 4, the result is 60.
N^2 + N + 4 = 60
N^2 + N - 56 = 0
(N - 7)(N + 8) = 0
N - 7 = 0
N = 7
N + 8 = 0
N = -8
So N = either 7 or -8
