You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In the movie theater, 45% were adults, the remaining 55 people were children.
A.) How many people were on the theater?
B.) How many adults were in the theater?
let x=total number of people in the theater
45%x+55=x
.55x=55
x=55/0.55=100
How many adults were in the theater? 45%*100=45
total number of people in the theater=100
