Question 1013264: Hi could you please help me? This is the question: What is the equation of a line that is parallel to the line that is given by the equation x = -4?
If you could explain how to do it it would be nice so that i can answer others.
I was thinking that it was y = x-4 but im not too sure
Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The line x = -4 is a vertical line going thru the point (-4, 0).
Any vertical line, describing by x = something, is parallel to it.
Examples are x = 3, x = 0, x = -1/2...
