You can put this solution on YOUR website! the simplest way to do this is to solve for x when your answer is 2/3 and when your answer is 3/4 and then look for an integer between them.
start with x/17 = 2/3.
solve for x to get x = 34/3.
next with x/17 = 3/4.
solve for x to get x = 51/4
your solution is going to be between 34/3 and 51/4.
convert these to decimal format and you'll see that x is between 11.3 and 12.75.
the only whole number between them is 12.
that's your answer.
you get x/17 = 12.
solve for x to get x = 17*12 = 204.
you get 204/17 = 12.
