You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This is a rectangular prism and its surface area (A) is = 2ab + 2bc + 2ac
Because this prism has 6 rectangles, where each 2 opposite rectangles are parallel and have same area, so that we have 3 pairs of these rectangles. First 2 of them have length=a and width=b, second pair has length=b and width=c, and third pair has length=a and width=c.
If
a%28length%29=9+ft
b%28width%29=3+ft
c%28height%29=10+ft
then
A=+2ab+%2B+2bc+%2B+2ac
A=+2%2A9ft%2A3ft+%2B+2%2A3ft%2A10ft+%2B+2%2A9ft%2A10ft
A=54%28ft%5E2%29%2B+60%28ft%5E2%29%2B+180%28ft%5E2%29
A=294%28ft%5E2%29
