You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let x be the number of cards in the $27 set, then
Nicole has two friends that have $9 each, this makes 3 people, therefore
each person gets x/3 cards

Nicole has $9 to spend on cards. She finds friends with the same amount of money to split the cost of a set. One set costs $27. Each friend gets the same number of cards. How many cards does each friend get?
Each person pays: %28%22%24%2227%29%2F3 = $9
You also divide the number of cards in the set by 3 to find how many cards each person gets
