let x = original average value of the animals
let h = the value of the horse
:
= x + 15
multiply both sides by 13
13x - 625 + h = 13(x + 15)
13x - 625 + h = 13x + 195
subtract 13x from both sides
-625 + h = 195
h = 195 + 625
h = $820 is value of the horse

To bring the average price of the cows back to where it was, we use the value of the removed cow as a base:
horse = 625+
----------------------------------------------------
Now the problem says the average price of the animals (13 animals, 12 cows and 1 horse) increased by 15:
15*13 = 195 This is the additional value the horse brought to the animals, so we add it to the value of the horse:
horse = 625+195= 820
The price of the horse is Rs. 820
