Write eac fraction using the lcm, as follows:

= 2x/lcm + 2x(x-2)/lcm - x(x-1)/lcm
Combine the numerators over the lcm, as follows;
= [2x + 2x^2-4x -x^2+x]/lcm
= [x^2-x]lcm
= [x(x-1)]/[(x-1)(x-2)]
Cancel (x-1) to get:
= x/(x-2)
