You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
She must have 3 pennies. If she hah more, she must have at least 8,
Then she would have to have $0.85 in one coin.
So she has 3 pennies.
.
So she has $0.90 in 6 coins (nickels, dimes, and quarters)
She must have at least 2 quarters. If she only had one, she would have to
have $0.65 in 5 coins, and 5 dimes is only $0.50.
If she has 2 quarters, she needs 40 cents in four coins,
or four dimes and no nickels.
If she has 3 quarters, she needs fifteen cents in three coins,
or three nickels and no dimes.
If she has 4 quarters, she has more than 93 cents.
.
The possibilities are:
3 pennies, three nickels, and three quarters
--- or ----
3 pennies, four dimes, and two quarters
