The -5 and -11 or to the highest power I hope I got right(they are small numbers) I could not find the formula to use so I hope I got it correct. PleaSE SHOW ME ALL YOUR WORK THAT'S HOW I LEARN BETTER....THANKS

what is the statement of the problem?
if you mean
4(y^-5) / 2(y^-11), then
note that 1 / (y^-11) = y^11
4(y^-5) / 2(y^-11) = (4(y^-5) * y^11) / 2 =
divide by 2 and add the exponents of y
2y^6
