You can put this solution on YOUR website! Quick refresher: In a fraction, the top is the fraction, the bottom is the whole. Example: You have 5 apples, you have 5/5. I take one, so I take 1/5.

8/8-5/8= 3/8 is what you have left. And cranes are 1/6 of this remainder:
3/8*1/6= 3/24; simplify: 1/8 of the total is the cranes.
Now we have:
5/8+1/8= 6/8
8/8-6/8= 2/8 simplify, divide both sides by 2:
1/4 is the grasshoppers
