if f%28-x%29%3C%3Ef%28x%29 and f%28-x%29%3C%3E+-f%28x%29 the function is neither+even+nor+odd
you have a graph of linear function f(x)=x

f%28-x%29=-x , so f%28-x%29%3C%3Ef%28x%29->the function is not even
f%28-x%29=-x->f%28-x%29=+-f%28x%29 is +true
so, f%28x%29+=+x is an odd function
