You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x%3E=-5 whatever is found.

%28sqrt%28x%2B5%29%29%5E2=x%5E2%2B6x%2B9
x%2B5=x%5E2%2B6x%2B9
x%5E2%2B5x%2B4=0
%28x%2B1%29%28x%2B4%29=0

And both of these will work as OR:
x=-1 OR cross%28x=-4%29

-
My mistake. One should check to see if any solutions fail in the original equation. x=-4 will not work.

solve the following equations and inequalities:
+sqrt%28+x%2B5+%29+=+x%2B3+
Solve for x to get: highlight_green%28x+=+-+1%29 OR x = - 4 (ignore, as this is an EXTRANEOUS solution)
