You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Integrate
f(x) = (2e^x - cos(x) + x^(1/2))
Take the integral
integral (2 e^x+sqrt(x)-cos(x)) dx
Integrate the sum term by term and factor out constants:
= - integral cos(x) dx+ integral sqrt(x) dx+2 integral e^x dx
The integral of cos(x) is sin(x):
= -sin(x)+ integral sqrt(x) dx+2 integral e^x dx
The integral of sqrt(x) is (2 x^(3/2))/3:
= (2 x^(3/2))/3-sin(x)+2 integral e^x dx
The integral of e^x is e^x:
*******************************************************************
Integral = (2 x^(3/2))/3+2 e^x-sin(x)+constant
