You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Find the x-intercept and y-intercept.
The general rules are:
To find an x-intercept, let the value of y in the equation be equal to zero.
Your x-intercept will be written as a point (x,0) .

To find a y-intercept, let the value of x in the equation be equal to zero.
Your y-intercept will be written as a point (0,y).
1.
y=x
if x=0=>y=0->y-intercept is (0,0)
if y=0=>x=0->x-intercept is (0,0)
2.
y%2Bx=4
if x=0=>y%2B0=4=>y=4->y-intercept is (0,4)
if y=0=>0%2Bx=4->x-intercept is (0,4)
3.
y=1->y-intercept is 1
->x-intercept does not exist
The horizontal line y=1 will never cross the x-axis. A horizontal line (other than y+=+0) will not have an x-intercept.
