You can put this solution on YOUR website! The total is 7*39=273.
Two numbers are known, 31 and 53, and they make 84.
The other 5 must add up to 273-84= 189.
The smallest is 33, the largest 51.
The average value is 37.8
At least 3 numbers have to be below that, and they would be 33,35,37, whose sum is 105.
That leaves 84 for the other two, and they are 41 and 43.
The list of numbers is
31,33,35,37,41,43,53. They average to 39, and the number in the middle is 37.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! If the average of 7 distinct odd numbers is 39, the smallest number is 31 and the largest number is 53, what is the number in the middle?
-----------
7*39 = 273
---
273 - (31+53) = 189
31 < 5 odd numbers < 53 with a sum of 189
--> 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 51
Several combinations are possible.
eg
33 + 35 + 37 + 39 + 45 = 189
