You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let height of the brick h=x inch
Then
length(l)=4x-2 inch
& width(b)=2x-1inch
Now sum the dimensions
i.e. l+b+h=28.5
4x-2+2x-1+x=28.5 [invoke liner "x"]
x= 4.5 inch or (x=4.5")
Using this value we get l=16" , b=8" , h= 4.5"
[A brick is in cuboid shape so we find the volume by using the formula of cuboid ]
Now the volume of brick =length譿idth議eight unit cube
=16󭅈.5 inch cube
=576"cube
