It isn't clear whether they are equal or supplementary. If they are equal, then
8x + 32 = 4x + 16
4x = -16
x = -4
and the angles are
both zero.
This makes no sense so they must be supplementary...then
8x + 32 + 4x + 16 = 180
12x + 48 = 180
12x = 132
x = 11
and the angles are
8(11) + 32 = 120 and
4(11) + 16 = 60 degrees
