The volume of the foam would be the volume of the cube minus the volume of the sphere...say the sphere has a radius of r, then the cube has a side of 2r...then we have
V(foam) = V(cube) - V(sphere)
V(foam) = (2r)^3 - (4/3)(pi)r^3
V(foam) = 8r^3 - (4/3)(pi)r^3
