You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x be the first side
Let y be the second side
Let z be the third side
x = 2y - 65
z = y - 10
x + y + z = 165
(2y -65) + y + (y-10) = 165
4y -75 = 165
4y = 240
y = 60
x = 2y - 65 = 2(60) - 65 = 55
z = y - 10 = 60 - 10 = 50
Equation: (2y -65) + y + (y-10) = 165
Final Answer:
First side = 55 cm
Second side = 60 cm
Third Side = 50 cm

p=165
1st. side =2x-65 =2[60]-65 = 120-65= [55cm.]
2nd. side =x = [60cm.]
3rd. side =x-10 =60-10= [50cm.]
p=1st.side +2nd.side +3rd side
165=2x-65 +x + x-10
165=4x -75
165+75=4x
240=4x
240/4=4x/4
60=x
60cm=x
