Now multiply by 5/3 and get
b = (5/3)(147) = 245 boys
And, since there are 322 total participants,
322 - 147 = 175 must be girls, so that

Now multiply by 9/5 and get
g = (9/5)(175) = 315 girls
Total = 245 boys + 315 girls = 560 students
