You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find tho equation of the perpendicular bisector of the segment
joining (5, 4) and (-4, -2).
1. Use the midpoint formula to find the midpoint of the line
segment joining the two given points.

2. Use the slope formula to find the slope of the line segment
joining them.

3. Find the slope of a line perpendicular by taking the negative
reciprocal of the slope found in step 2. That is, invert the
slope from step 2 and change its sign.

4. Use the point-slope formula to find the equation of the line
with the slope found in step 3, passing through the midpoint found
in step 1.

5. Simplify the result of 5.
