Question 1006445: My teacher handed us a worksheet on algabraic proofs and told us to do it for homework. I can to congruent triangle proofs and some algabraic proofs but this one confused me... I can solve the equation I just can't figure out what to put as the reason. Thank you!!
Given: 6z-2z-27=z+18
Prove: z=15 Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 6z -2z -27 = z + 18
Substitute 15 for z
(6 * 15) -(2 * 15) -27 = 15 + 18
90 -30 -27 = 33
90 -57 = 33
33 = 33
Therefore z = 15
