Call the numbers of nickels and quarters, n and q.
Then n + q = 33 and
5n = 2(25q) or 5n = 50q or n = 10q
Now plug that into the first equation and get
10q + q = 33
11q = 33
q = 3 = $.75
n = 30 = $1.50
Total = $2.25
