Question 1005927: How many liters of a 20% saline solution and how many of a 10% saline solution must be mixed to produce 20 liters of a 15% saline solution? Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! I will give you the set up but this one can be reasoned quite simply...to make a 15% solution, equal parts of 10% and 20% must be used...so 10 liters of each...the set up looks like this though...x is the amount of 20% solution...
20x + 10(20-x) = 15(20)
