You can put this solution on YOUR website! Well, without a calculator that can do exponentials, you'll have to rely on what are called series expansions...the series expansion for e^x is
e^x = 1 + x + (1/2)x^2 + (1/6)x^3 + (1/24)x^4 + ... so that
e^2.69 = 1 + 2.69 + (1/2)2.69^2 + (1/6)(2.69^3) + (1/24)(2.69^4) + (1/120)(2.69^5)...
You should be able to manage that with a simple calculator...14.7316 or so...
The letter "e" stands for this irrational number which never
ends or repeats blocks of digits:
2.718281828459045235360287471352662497757247093699959574966967...
To get 4 decimal place accuracy you will need to use about 8 digits
of that decimal:
Type in 2.7182818^2.69
Then round to four decimals
Get 14.7317
