You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A rectangular pyramid has a rectangular base and four triangles (2 pairs)
Volume = (1/3) * area of base * height
Volume = (1/3) * (6*4) + 10 = 80 cubic feet
***********************************************************************
h1^2 = 10^2 + 3^2 = 109
h1 = sqrt(109)
area of triangle pair1 = 2 * (1/2) * 4 * sqrt(109) = 41.761226036
***********************************************************************
h2^2 = 10^2 + 2^2 = 104
h2 = sqrt(104)
area of triangle pair2 = 2 * (1/2) * 6 * sqrt(104) = 61.188234163
******************************************************************************
lateral surface area = 41.761226036 + 61.188234163 = 102.949460199 square feet
*******************************************************************************
total surface area = 102.949460199 + (6*4) = 126.949460199 square feet
******************************************************************************
