Question 100562: I need help finding the slope of the line passing through (-2,4) and (-2,-5).
can anyone help me please? I seem to find myself with no solution for this one.
I have -5-4/-2 +2 = -9/0 Could that be right?????????????

Any time you get a division by zero for the slope, it tells you that the slope is undefined, and
that means that the graph is a vertical line. If you look at the two points that are given,
you will notice that both points have -2 as their x value. If you plot the two points,
one of them (-2, -5) is directly under the other point (-2, 4). When you connect these two
points with a line, you will see that the line is vertical.
