Question 1005033: Besides being good counters, ants are also incredibly strong compared to their small size. Some ants can lift up to 50 times their body weight. According to the international weightlifting federation, the current world record for a 105 kg man for the clean and jerk (lifting a weighted barbell over his head) is 242 kg. If this man was, proportional to his size, as strong as the strongest ant, by how many kilograms could he exceed his current world record?

ant can lift 50 time its weight.

current world record for 105 kg man is 242 kg.

if the man could lift as much as an ant, the man would be able to lift 50 * 105 = 5250 kg.

that would be 5250 - 242 = 5008 more kg than he can currently lift.
