You can put this solution on YOUR website! Call the length and width, L and W.
From the facts they give us, we have
L = W + 4
and, since area A = LW,
(L + 2)W = LW + 10
This gives
LW + 2W = LW + 10
2W = 10
W = 5 ft and then
L = 9 ft
