You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The side of a triangle is twice the length of the shortest side and
a = 2c
the middle length side is 9 inches longer than the shortest side.
b = c + 9
If the perimeter is 65 inches what are the lengths of the 3 sides?
a + b + c = 65
Replace a and b
2c + (c+9) + c = 65
4c = 65 - 9
4c = 56
c = 56/4
c = 14 is the shortest side
then
a = 2(14)
a = 28 is the longest side
and
b = 14 + 9
b = 23 is the middle side

Check this: 28 + 23 + 14 = 65
