Question 1002709
:
Did I solve these problems correctly?
1. f(x)=-3x + 2
g(x)=3x^2 -x + 2 Find (f + g)(x)
-3x+2+(3x^2-x+2)
=3x^2-3x-x+4
=3x^2-4x-4
2. f(x)=x -1
g(x)=2x^2 -2x -5
Find g(f(x) )
2x^2 -2x -5(x-1)
=2x^2 -2x -5x+5
=2x^2 -7x+5
3. f(x)=3x + 2
g(x)= -2x2 -3x + 5
Find g(f(x) )
-2x^2-3x+5(3x+2)
= -2x^2-3x+15x+10
=12x-2x^2+10

You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm sorry but no for 2 and 3....For g(f(x))
2.)
f(x)=x -1
g(x)=2x^2 -2x -5
You are plugging what F(x) equals into the input for g(x). So
2(x-1)^2-2(x-1)-5
Then solve..Be careful of your signs
Do the same for number 3.
