Question 100195: a/4+6=-3
-12m-4+2m=-12
3(r-6)/1=4(r+2)-21
m/-4=4
11-2(c+1)=2(c+2)+3c
3h-10=-21

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a%2F4%2B6=-3 your goal here is to isolate the variable...
whatever you do to one side, you must do to the other as well.
start by subtracting six from both sides to get a%2F4=-9
Multiplication cancels division, so multiply both sides by 4 to get a=-36

-12m-4%2B2m=-12 again, work towards isolating your variable...
i like to keep things positive...so add 12m, then add 12, subtract 2m...you should get -4%2B2m=-12%2B12m=8%2B2m=12m=8=10m
Now, just divide both sides by 10 and reduce! 8%2F10=m=4%2F5=m

3%28r-6%29%2F1=4%28r%2B2%29-21
3r-18%2F1=4r%2B8-21
3r-18=4r-13
3r-5=4r
-5=r

m%2F-4=4
multiply both sides by -4 to get: m=-16

3h-10=-21
3h=-11
h=-11%2F3=h=-3%282%2F3%29
