Note:
-%284%29%5E2+=+-%284%29%284%29 = -16 Right? Notice that it is NOT (-4)(-4) which would be +16
1%5E3+=+1%2A1%2A1 = 1 OK?
%28-15%29%5E0+=+1 Why? Because anything raised to the zero power is equal to 1.
