You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
4x - 3y = 5
Put in 'y = mx + c' form
3y = 4x - 5
Divide throughout by 3
y = 4/3x - 5/3
To find the 'x' intercept make
equation = 0
y = 4/3x - 5/3
0 = 4/3x - 5/3
4/3x = 5/3
Cross multiply
12x = 15
x = 15/12
x = 5/4
Answer (C) 5/4
Hope this helps :-)
