You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If A, and B are two events, where P(A) = k, P(A union ;B) = 0.5, P(B) = 0.33: (1) Find k, if A and B are independent
when A and B are independent than( A intersection B)=0
we know
p(A union B)= p(A) +p(B)-p(A intersection B)
0.5=K +.33 -0
K=0.5-0.33
K=0.17
