Question 769493: Joe uses stick on square tiles to cover his 3m by 4m bathroom. If each tile is 10cm on a side, how many tiles does he need to buy? If each tile costs .25, how much will the tile for this project cost?
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Convert 3m to 300cm
4m to 400cm
300cm/10cm = 30 tiles
400cm/10cm = 40 tiles
30 tiles * 40 tiles = 1200 tiles required.
1200 tiles * 0.25 = 300.
Hope this helps.
