You need to assume that Richard sets out at the same time in each scenario. You are not told what this time is and are not asked for it, but could work it out from the information given. Tried to figure it out by turning the fractions to decimals, I think that there are just to many steps and I was unsure of how to start what. I know the formula rt=d, but that didnt help much.
