Question 996935: A murder suspect was found 200 miles from the crime scene 150 minutes after the time of death. Assuming he actually committed the murder,how fast (in miles per hour)would he have had to drive in his getaway car? Given this information, is he a realistic suspect? Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Since distance = rate times time,
rate = distance / time
rate = 200 miles / 2.5 hours
rate = 80 miles/hour
Seems very unlikely he is the suspect, but it IS possible.
