Question 983782: Using aT table describe the gas left in your tank in terms of gallons and hours from when you leave Cleveland to the time you arrive at Cedar Point. How did you figure miles per gallon Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
Why would you want to use a T table showing gallons remaining vs hours when you want miles per gallon?
To figure miles per gallon, fill your tank and record the mileage on your odometer. Drive somewhere, the further away, the better. Fill your tank again and record the odometer again. Subtract the first odometer reading from the second, and divide the result by the number of gallons it took to fill the tank the second time.
